Hangzhou Wildness Conservation Center (HWCC) was founded in 2020 by a group of young people with professional background and passion for nature. It is one of the few NGOs dedicated to biodiversity research and conservation in Zhejiang Province. They implement biodiversity survey and research, conduct biodiversity education, and protect threatened species and their habitats, and actively assist the owners and managers of natural sites such as governments and enterprises to propose solutions that balance ecological protection and site development, and explore sustainable development paths that incorporates biodiversity conservation target.
原乡生态保护与研究中心（简称“原乡”）是一家注册于杭州市民政局的民办非企业单位，业务主管单位为杭州市林业水利局。2020年9月，在全国践行“两山理论”、生态环境保护全面升级的时代背景下，一群热爱自然、立志于生物多样性保护的年轻人们创立了原乡，他们背景多样但专业扎实，从生态学、环境学到自然教育、景观设计......
成立三年以来，原乡长期执行生物多样性调查研究，开展生物多样性科普教育，保护受威胁的物种及其栖息地，积极协助政府、企业等自然场域的所有者和管理者建立生物多样性本底数据库，提出生态保护与场地开发相平衡的解决方案，探索结合生物多样性保护目标的可持续发展道路。
2022年12月，原乡作为浙江省生物多样性保护民间力量的代表，随浙江代表团出访加拿大蒙特利尔，在联合国生物多样性大会中国角分享我们的生物多样性保护故事。
